Letters.

Letters. Kudos You cannot imagine how proud I felt when I first looked at thethree smiling faces of our G.R.E.A.T. Program students on the frontcover of Techniques (May 1998). The article, "G.R.E.A.T. Expectations" was compassionate, insightful and accurate. It captured and conveyed the spirit of one ofthe most hard-working and dedicated group of immigrants in the historyof our nation. An article like this highlights the importance of providing specialprograms and opportunities through which the newest members of oursociety can realize their highest potential as productive, thrivingmembers of the community. We appreciate the excellent coverage. It has boosted our commitmentto do the very best job that we can do for our students. --Ana Maria Bradley-Hess Executive director Miami-Dade Community College Miami, Florida “Miami” redirects here.
