Ivy Tech eyes easier process for transfers. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Ivy Tech IVY TECH Ivy Tech State College (Indiana Vocational Technical College System)Community College says it'strying to make it easier for its students to transfer to four-yearcolleges. Ivy Tech says it has assigned "transfer advocates" ateach of the community college's 14 regions around the state. The advocates can answer questions from students and help themunderstand the transfer process. Ivy Tech also is touting toutingthe making of personal representations by a veterinarian to persons who are not clients in an attempt to solicit their business. one statewide phone number as a firstpoint of contact for students with questions about transferring credits. The school also is making sure curriculums posted online forstudents are accurate. Ivy Tech president Thomas Snyder says the goal is to provide aseamless transfer process.
