Lauren Keiser Music Publishing established. Veteran music publisher Lauren Keiser has started Lauren KeiserMusic Publishing (LKMP), an ASCAP publisher, and Keiser Classical, a BMIhouse, new publishers of music print publications, rental library, CDs,DVDs and music rights. He has acquired the assets and music copyrightsof MMB Music in St. Louis and is joining them with his new publishingprogram in creation of a 360 degree "serious music"entertainment company. The company is presently in negotiations forother acquisitions. Keiser, the president of the Music Publishers' Association ofthe United States and on the board of ASCAP's Symphonic and ConcertCommittee, recently left as CEO/president of Carl Fischer after 21 yearswith the firm.
