Uru head of the Laboratories Unit participated in theThird National Symposium of the National Research on Faith Centreentitled "Islam and contemporary issues" held in April. Healso participated in a workshop on the Reality and Scope of DiabeticPatients in Sudan. The Diabetic Centre in Omdurman organized theworkshop in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health and theFaculty of Medicine of the University of Khartoum The University of Khartoum (U of K) is a public co-educational university located in and near Khartoum, Sudan.Founded as Gordon Memorial College in 1902 and established in 1956 when Sudan gained independence, the University of Khartoum is the most historically in May. Dr Abu BakrUru participated in a symposium entitled "Drugs are the destructionof the individual and society". It was organized by Shimoosesociocultural organization in June.
